Early this morning around 4:30 am EST as I was going out to unlock the gate I noticed a beautiful sight.  The Moon and Jupiter were close together, so I grabbed my camera for a quick shot.



I have always enjoyed the view when the Moon and a Planet are having a close encounter :)

Not bad for a 300mm generic telephoto lens.   I think there were 3 moons in the higher resolution image, I'm surprised they even showed up!
